Lady Eagles finish second at Santa Fe Invitational

SANTA FE — The Dawson Lady Eagles had a strong showing at the Santa Fe Invitational cross country meet as they finished in second place out of eight teams.

The Pearland Lady Oilers won the meet with 21 points while Dawson finished with 63 points for second place. Clear Creek took third with 69 points followed by Clear Springs (69), and Manvel (159).

The top finisher for Dawson was Mary Luster who finished sixth with a time of 13:24.94. Rachel Rhodes finished 10th in 13:46.22 followed by Ericka Taylor (13th - 13:52.47), Elise Lebiga (15th - 13:57.08), Allura Matz (19th - 14:29.81), Kahlise Arista (26th - 15:10.17), and Ashley Juarez (32nd - 15:22.54).
