FRIENDSWOOD — The Friendswood High School polo team qualified for the state polo tournament in San Antonio for only the second time and returned home with a ninth place finish.

The players who were part of the successful year are: Front row: Assistant coach Sophie Baker and head coach John Little; Middle row: Mady Maloy, McKenna Harclerode, Alana Semple, Lauren Lundquist; Back row: Briahna Yarberry, Hannah Zawila, Rachel Cragin, Kelsey Castro, Kristyn Cox, Morgan Bluth, Hailey Lutz, Julia Maloy, and Brittany Philbrick.
