Pearland Lady Oilers

Pearland defeated Dobie 25-14, 25-10, 25-8 to open up District 22-6A action.

Brooke Botkin paced the Lady Oilers with 25 kills followed by Hannah Ofczarzak with 12 kills and Sam Costello with six.

Caroline Shecterle registered 40 assists while Botkin and Caroline Shecterle had 11 digs and Amanda Chapa had nine.

Pearland defeats Pasadena

Pearland defeated Pasadena 25-8, 25-10, 25-9 to stay undefeated in District 22-6A action.

Brooke Botkin led the way with 10 kills followed by Hannah Ofczarzak and Sam Costello with eight.

Caroline Shecterle had 16 assists and seven digs. Amanda Chapa had seven digs and 10 aces.

The Lady Oilers are now 2-0 in district and 19-5 overall.

Dawson Lady Eagles

The Dawson Lady Eagles swept the Clear Falls Knights 25-21, 25-9 at the CCISD Volleyball Invitational.

Friendswood Lady Mustangs

The Friendswood Lady Mustangs got their first home win of the season with a 25-18, 25-18, 25-16 sweep of Manvel.

Kelly Colwell led Friendswood with six kills, followed by McKenna Fridye with five. Senior setter Sarah Thomas had 21 assists. As a team, Friendswood combined for 16 aces.
