Friendswood Lady Mustangs

The Friendswood Lady Mustangs lost to the Clear Spring Lady Chargers with the scores 19-25, 25-22, 22-25, 23-25.

Shannon Murphy led Friendswood in kills with 20, along with Kelly Colwell, who had 19. Olivia Sykes led in digs with 29. Sarah Thomas aided the team with 53 assists.

Friendswood defeats Brazoswood

The Friendswood Lady Mustangs improved to 1-1 in District 24-6A play with a 25-17, 25-15, 25-16 sweep of Brazoswood at home.

Kelly Colwell and Shannon Murphy led the Friendswood attack with 15 kills apiece. Sarah Thomas served up 47 assists, and Olivia Sykes led the defense with 21 digs.

Pearland Lady Oilers

The Pearland Lady defeated the Alvin Lady Yellowjackets 25-17, 25-15, 25-12.

Brooke Botkin led the offense with 17 kills, Hanna Ofczarzak had 13, and Sam Costello had 9.

Caroline Shecterle had 38 assists. Amanda Chapa had 18 digs with Botkin getting 7 and Kylie Napoleon adding 6.

Grace Lee had two aces and Botkins had two blocks with Riley Murdock get 1.5 blocks.

Pearland defeats Sam Rayburn

The Pearland Lady Oilers defeated Sam Rayburn 25-9, 25-7, 25-3.

Brooke Botkin led the Lady O's with 14 kills followed by Sam Costello with 8 kills and 4 blocks and Hannah Ofczarzak with 6 kills and 7 aces.

Botkin had 8 digs and Amanda Chapa had 7 digs.

Pearland improves to 24-7 overall and 6-0 in District 22-6A action.
