HUMBLE — Pearland head track coach Roni Burren saw her lady tracksters have their best showing of the season with a fourth place finish at the Humble ISD track meet.
The 400 meter relay team of Christina Collins, Tiara Johnson, Ashton Thomas, and Alexis Deason placed third in 49.1.
The 800 meter relay quartet of Deason, Johnson, Collins, and Alyssa Duggar placed third in 1:45.47.
Brittany Crisp placed third in the 400 meters (1:01.5).
Lindsey Chapa placed third in the 300 hurdles (46.9).
Charra Elliot and Kethleen Van Lowe tied for first place in the high jump.
Courtney Mose was fourth in the 800 meters (2:23).
Virginia Ney was fifth in the 3200 (11:55).
"I was very impressed with the way we competed," Burren said. "We are a very young team so it was good to see us step up and compete."
